Why and How We Serve

Our organization helps thousands of people locally and those suffering in poverty around the world. Beyond the distribution of material goods, Helping Hands works to build community centers that provide stability for the surrounding communities. These centers serve as adult skill centers (Oasis Centers), providing a place to learn new skills, empowerment, hope and spiritual renewal to women and children.

Transforming lives · Empowering People · Restoring Hope

Helping Hands Ministries International is a non-profit organization focused on making a difference in our local communities as well as in the nation of Peru. We accomplish our mission through the sale of donated goods at Thrift Stores located in Bothell, Clearview and Lake Stevens – and through valued partners (supporters) who believe in the Helping Hands mission.

EVENT! at Helping Hands (2016)

Helping Hands Annual Auction 2016

We had an excellent night thanks to many of you that came to celebrate Helping Hands’ successes locally and in Peru.

Our guests had the opportunity to explore our “Market Place” items submitted through our stores but reserved for this special event; they were able to bid on exciting and unique items in the silent auction; enjoy time together to hear touching stories, witness the candid conversation between Roz Gork and Shannon Field followed by a delicious dinner, dessert raffle and wine.

Project of the Year (2016)

Clean Drinking Water for the Community

Thanks to our amazing supporters and Port Gardner Rotary (led by our own Director of Operations, Jeff Hager), Victor Raul in Peru has its very own water source for the first time ever.  Now the people don’t have to buy water from the government trucks that deliver it only once or twice each week, often at unfair prices.  they can get water straight from the well anytime they need it – water tested by the City to be CLEAN and SAFE from parasites and bacteria.  This is a rare gift for Peruvians.  They are grateful for your support and love, as are all the HHMI staff and volunteers.
